A pellet stove made in France, from Haute-Provence

A French pellet stove manufacturer founded by specialists

Schulhof Energies was founded in October 2022 by professionals with more than ten years of experience in the pellet stove sector. That experience shaped the starting point of the company: to design a stove that addresses the issues owners and installers know well, such as emissions, cleaning, noise and installation in modern homes.

The company is based at 101 Chemin des Serres, 04700 Puimichel, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, and is registered in Manosque under number 920 558 079. It is led by its managing director, Christian Schulhof.

Designed and made in France

Ambelys is designed and made in France, by a team based in Puimichel. The stove is not a rebadged import: it is developed and built by a French company with its own patented technology.

For you, it also means a manufacturer you can reach directly, with technical documentation and support from the team that designed the stove.

Four European patents filed with the INPI

Schulhof Energies has filed four European patents with the INPI, the French intellectual property office. One of these innovations is the patented double combustion system: a tall, lively first flame, followed by a second flame at 380 to 800 °C that burns unburned gases and fine particles inside the stove before they reach the flue.

This work shows in the test results, carried out to EN 16510-1:2022 and EN 16510-2-6:2022: 92% efficiency, 10 mg/Nm³ of fine particles, 175 mg/Nm³ of CO at 13% O2 and 72 mg/Nm³ of NOx, all below the Ecodesign limits. Ambelys is also a room-sealed stove and runs at 38 dB or less.

Long warranties as a sign of confidence

A manufacturer shows how much it trusts its product through the warranty it offers. Ambelys is covered for 15 years on the heat exchanger, 10 years on the structure and 3 years on the electronics.

• Heat exchanger: 15 years
• Structure: 10 years
• Electronics: 3 years

Remote maintenance and service

Every Ambelys comes with wifi and remote maintenance as standard. If something does not work as expected, a trained technician can connect to the stove and diagnose the issue remotely. This helps solve simple problems quickly and lets the engineer prepare before a visit when one is needed.

Day to day, you control the stove from the mobile app, the remote control or the colour touchscreen. Learn more on the Ambelys pellet stove page.
